| This hutch belonged to my Grandparents on my Mom's side. They donated it to the museum many years ago. The museum burnt to the ground in the 80's I believe, and we thought it was gone. 6 yrs ago I discovered it was in the 'COMPANY HOUSE". Because of grants being cut, the old buildings on the site have not been opened for many years. 3 times I have been home and would try to get in to see but was always unsuccessful. This year I mentioned it to an employee at the museum and within minutes he unlocked the doors to let us take these pictures. |
