mabelene gray, formally known as betty holtsoy-gray, was born aug 9th , 1980 in gallup, new mexico. she learned how to make and etch pottery while she was growing up in pinedale by her uncle. her speciality is in the traditional navajo etched pottery. she uses very detailed etchings on the pottery, while adding traditional as well as pastel colors. she also uses horse hair. her work is found at gallery 8 in old town albuquerque, new mexico.

since i did no shopping....and i need to do some shopping....i am going to the oregon coast in sept with the bates girls....yahoo...another road trip.....
