Well here I am .....about to be a Grandmother in about 2 weeks...We are going to be the best Grandparents ever...we will welcome dirt..and germs...and get to play and have fun...with none of the guilt of being a parent...hopefully this will make up for our mistakes as parents.   So I am not sure what I would like to be called as a Grandparent....My Mother's Mom was  our Nanny, my fathers Mom was known as Ma Wood....she did not want to admit to being a grandmother....really...wtf....oh well..   Terry's grandparents were know as grandpa and grandma..on both sides.  I think I really like a distinction.....if John and Rebecca's baby call her parents grandma and grandpa....and call us grandma and grandpa..they must then add last names...Like grandpa Marsh..and Grandma Deroashes.sorry about the spelling...really...I would rather they had a grandma and a grandpa...and a nanna and a pappa . What do you think...I can't wait for someone to call me grandma, granny, nannna, nanny.......
